WELCOME

Welcome to my portfolio page where you can see a wide range of some of the work I have done so far.

My name is Edina Nourredine

My journey into game design has been shaped by a lifelong passion for creativity. As a child, I was deeply engaged in photography, dancing, and painting—activities that allowed me to connect with the world and express myself. This creative spark extended to video games, where I was fascinated by the artistry and effort behind the scenes. I felt an undeniable pull to be part of that magic, to not only enjoy games but to contribute to their creation.

Although I initially pursued a path in optometry out of practicality, my heart never strayed from game design. After completing my optometry degree, I took a leap of faith and moved to London in 2016 to study Game Design. This bold decision set me on an incredible journey, leading to a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree, and eventually to roles at esteemed studios like Mediatonic and Epic Games.

Before diving into Fall Guys I worked on Yahtzee with Buddies as a UI technical artist. I was truly amazed and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to that project. After a little over a year, I transitioned to "Fall Guys," where I initially continued as a technical artist for three months. I then moved into a role as a level designer, a position I held for the next two years. Being part of "Fall Guys" was an extraordinary experience; working on such a successful game was both surreal and deeply fulfilling. I also had the thrill of being featured in YouTube videos for the game’s Creative mode launch and tutorials, which was a significant highlight for me.

Every day, I am driven by a desire to grow and improve. I’ve come to understand that it's not about being the best, but about being better than I was yesterday. This mindset keeps me motivated and continually evolving. I’m eager to embrace more creative responsibilities in game development, where I can help shape the direction and storytelling of future projects.

Outside of my professional life, I’m embarking on a new challenge: writing a script for an animated short movie. Stepping into this uncharted territory is both daunting and exhilarating. The fear of tackling something completely new is matched by an excitement for the possibilities it holds. This project represents a fresh opportunity to push my creative boundaries and explore new avenues. I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me and how it might open doors to new opportunities for growth and discovery.
