Welcome!

My name is Edina, and I am a Master student in Games Design at the London College of Communication (UAL). I have graduated with a 2:1 last June from the BA(hons) Games design from the same university. 
My story is quite different from others in this field. I grew up in France, in the suburbs of Paris. From a very young age I knew I wanted to be part of the creative industry, I was very actively dancing at the time, always had a passion for music and drawing. It was just as a teenager that I decided to be part of the game industry. But I took a different path after graduating from high school, I ended up being an Optometrist after 4 years of studying in university. Yes, you read that right, I am an optometrist! But my dream of being part of the game industry was always in my head. It never left me, I always wanted it. That is why I moved to London and started this Games Design course almost 3 years ago now. I am still discovering in more depth the world of video games from a game’s designer point of view, I know that I still have a lot to learn and I can't wait to gather all this knowledge by working in the industry. I'd like to think that I am the best Games designer among Optometrists and the Best Optometrist among Games designers.
